100.
Now that the holidays have come and gone, it’s really time to buckle up and get down to business. 100 days from today, I will be running the Boston Marathon. I have a lot of work to do between now and then, and I’m looking forward to all of it.
However, I won’t lie, it’s very to think of excuses to no go out and run in the bitter cold. But, then I think about a few things: the goal I’m working toward, Jack and his family, all of my supporters, last year’s marathon. I very easily see the bigger picture, and that motivates me to run.
Over the next 100 days, I’m going to kick my own ass and get myself ready. (I can’t even tell you how much enjoyment I got out of watching various versions of that video.) So, while I am busy doing that, it would really mean a lot to me if you could help fuel my motivation and support my cause. My goal is to raise $5,000 – from which every penny will go toward The Boston Children’s Hospital. Which means donating will not only be helping me out, but it will also be helping out the kids that are patients at the hospital.
I’m very happy to say that I have already raised 20% of my goal (big shout out to everyone who has already donated), but as with my training, I have a long way to go. Anything you can contribute is truly and greatly appreciated! Also, a lot of companies match donations, so you could very easily double your contribution. All you have to do is talk to someone in your HR dept and they should be able to help you out. 🙂

Thank you in advance for any and all of your support!
100 days to go…
